We at Catch of the Day DC Church will walk you through your new life in Christ. We encourage you to enroll in our discipleship class. We will explain in detail what it means to be born again and the privileges you automatically inherit as a newborn Child of the Kingdom of God. You got questions and we got answers.

The Word of God declares, “If any man (woman, boy or girl) be in Christ: he (she) is a new creation (born again). Old things are passed away, Behold all things are new and of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)

Below is 7-steps to get you started as a born again Christian. The Apostle Peter said, “As newborn babies, desire the sincere milk of the Word of God that you may grow.” (1 Peter 2:2) 

 

SEVEN STEPS TO GROW CLOSE TO GOD

1. Read the Word of God (Holy Bible) daily

2. Talk to God about whatever is on your mind.

3. Believe that God heard you and will answer you.

4. Come to Church for fellowship with Christians

5. Establish a relationship with one Christian

6. Enroll in our new Christian and discipleship class.

7. Take our course on how to talk to God.

Jesus said, “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)

The Apostle Peter said, “Like a newborn baby, you must desire the sincere milk of the word of God, that you may grow by drinking the Word of God for your source of spiritual strength.” (1 Peter 2:2)
