Sonya Carter is the Chief Financial Officer and board member of Catch of the Day Worldwide Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. She is the First Lady of Revival Temple Full Gospel Church, 2431 Shannon Place, SE, Washington, DC 20020, where her husband, Milton Kennard Carter is the Senior Pastor. Sonya serves as the Christian education director

She accepted Christ as here savior XXXXXXXXX, XXXX. She was born and raised in XXXXXXXX and graduated from XXXXXXXX Senior High School and the University of Maryland University College, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Sonya earned a Master of Arts in Discipleship Ministries from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Professional Ministries. She is the Christian education director at Revival Temple, where she is responsible for the spiritual growth and development of church members.  She is a mentor, inspiration to young ladies and lives by example. She is bound and determined to help young ladies identify their dream and reach their maximum potential in Christ Jesus. She is a member of Sister Strengthening Sister, where is she is an encounter leader.

In January 2013, Sonya became affiliated with the Favor Project under the direction of Pastor Monica Haskell.  It was through this connection that God reminded her of a vision He gave her years ago.  Today, Create 2, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to inspire people to achieve their maximum potential. Her desire is to spread cheer using words that inspire one to do better and move forward.

She is married to her knight in shining armor, Rev. Milton Kennard Carter. They have four children and two grandchildren.
